Absorption refrigerator and freezer for health centers
The RCW 42 performs a dual function: vaccine storage at the appropriate temperature and freezing of ice packs. Designed for operation either by electricity/gas or kerosene, depending on the local constraints.

- This unit ensures that the Cold Chain will be maintained for vaccines even at remote vaccination centres
- When the equipment operates on electricity, the thermostat control functions as a switch that either starts or cuts off the heating resistance of the refrigeration system. The evaporator plates positioned on the inside walls allow the preparation of ice cubes or freezing ice packs
- Insulation materials: Polyurethane & Cyclopentane
- Absorption compartment: Cooling unit, heating element, cosmos 8 burner, kerosene tank
- Control panel situated at the right top side of the unit; 1 electro thermostat
- Cooling system: absorption cooling unit filled with NH3 for 85 W
- Ice-pack freezing with vaccine: 0.37kg / 9h at 32°C ambient temp.
- Outer body rotomoulded with Polyethylene
- Lockable lid with 2 catches
- Silicon gasket ensures tight sealing
